Recommendation: The best restaurants to visit in Noosa, Queensland

Noosa National Park

Noosa National Park

My partner and I love spending time in Noosa.

The region has beautiful beaches, great walking trails, water activities like boating, jet skis and stand-up paddleboarding, cute cafes and coffee roasteries, and lovely boutiques.

Unsurprisingly, it’s a popular spot - especially over the summertime. So, when planning a trip, I always book a few restaurants in advance to ensure we don’t miss out!

If you’re a foodie, check out the restaurants below next time you’re in Noosa.

  1. Ricky’s

One of my friends recommended Ricky’s to me - now it is one of our favourite restaurants! Situated on the Noosa River, it is an elegant, light-filled venue. With sweeping views, it makes for a perfect long lunch venue. Fresh seafood and local produce feature heavily on the menu - and they have an impressive wine list.

  2. Bang Bang
We first discovered this restaurant in their Byron venue - and fell in love with their flavour-packed Asian fusion menu and delicious cocktails. So when they headed north to Noosa, we were keen to see if it would be as good as our Byron Bay experience. The menus are very similar across the two venues - and it has become a must-visit when we are in Noosa.

  3. Somedays Pizza
For those who love authentic-style pizza, you can’t beat Somedays in Noosa Junction. Their wood-fired pizza is made using two-day fermented dough and has never disappointed. While we’ve worked through most of the pizza menu during our numerous visits, it’s hard to beat the Margherita (classic!) and “all the cheese.”

Newbies worth a mention

We tried a couple of newer restaurants during our most recent trip. While we haven’t visited them multiple times, we can’t vouch for consistency yet - but it’s worth giving them a shout-out, as we will probably be back one day!

  1. Alba
Beautifully fit-out Sri Lankan restaurant by Peter Kuruvita, tucked away near the golf course. Bright, flavour-packed food.

  2. Lucios Marina
A seafood trattoria and bar on the water at Noosa Marina. Beautiful setting and fresh Italian food.
